Disciple is an i
n-depth Bible study and Christian development course. It will compliment the Alpha Course, but it is not the same type of course as Alpha. Over 34 weeks participants will engage with the entire Bible. This may sound quite a commitment.
Indeed it is. There are weekly meetings and study is an essential element to the course. However, Disciple is NOT a burden.
By encountering the Bible in a new way, it has been found that participant’s spirituality, understanding and Christian life has been profoundly affected.
Disciple comes from the United States, where it has a proven track record. However, it has been adapted for use in this country by Rev. Dr. Peter Graves and others. It has also been endorsed by all the main Christian denominations in Britain and has been promoted by the Archbishop of Canterbury and the late Rev. Dr. Donald English
