Monday Club meets every other Monday from September to July. Meetings begin at 7.45pm and are usually held in the Lower Lounge. Although the club has its origins in what was the  "Young Mothers Guild" Membership is now open to men and women. An elected committee monitors club business and every effort is made to produce a programme that is both interesting and social, with, of course, emphasis on Christian values.

Activities range from talks on glass blowing to preparation of and participation in the annual carol service.

During the year there are always two bring and buy sales and two collections.

A Club outing is arranged every summer.

Given the strong ties between the Methodist Church and the National Children’s Homes, it has become traditional to end the session with a special event for NCH usually a barbecue-and-beetle-drive whatever the weather!

There is a small subscription for members and a nominal charge for visitors.
New members and visitors are always welcome.
